Solid body electric bass
Solid-body electric bass with active or passive EQ, traditional lutherie and original ergonomic design.
Versatile, functional, user-friendly and beautifully singular, theIBANEZ Standard EHB600 WNF is extremely competitive with flexible, precise electronics that let you sculpt your tones in detail. Ibanez Alpha-1 pickups deliver a clear, open sound with abundant midrange and bass - criteria appreciated for contemporary musical registers. Okoume body, bolt-on neck with 24-fret Jatoba fingerboard, Ibanez pickups.
Used for decades by the maritime and aeronautical industries, Okoume (native to West Africa) is a wood of choice for electric guitars (John Suhr used it for many years). This light, low-density wood can be considered a high-quality Mahogany, with more pronounced high frequencies and an extended dynamic range, exacerbating the instrument's clarity. Jatoba (or Brazilian Cherry) is a wood whose tonal characteristics are close to those of Pau Ferro. Both warm and punchy.
