Its luthiery is as superb as its flexible electronics. African Mahogany body, Poplar burr top, nine-piece Panga-Panga / Walnut bolt-on neck, 24-fret Panga-Panga fingerboard, Ibanez Nordstrand™ Custom Big Split pickups, active / passive Vari-mid 3-band electronics. Panga-Panga is a species native to Central Africa, which some luthiers place on a par with Brazilian Rosewood.

An instrument equipped with a multi-scale fingerboard with fanned frets offers two major advantages: - optimized string tension for modern tuning (down-tuning) while maintaining optimal intonation - less muscle and tendon stress.
