Volume, boost & expression effect pedal
As a booster/preamplifier, the Prism includes 3 of the most distinctive boosts:
- Trans: a clear, transparent boost with no sound coloration.
- Amp: a boost that simulates a tube amp.
- Color: a silicon treble booster.
Each booster/preamp circuit is totally discrete and contained within its own true bypass loop, so there's never any extra circuitry in the audio path. Jackson Audio recommends putting the Prism first in your signal chain, as its active EQ and treble booster will be most effective just after the guitar.
The Prism is a true bypass pedal featuring Jackson Audio's silent activation circuitry, and uses a silent relay footswitch for its bypass. At the very end of the Prism is a buffer that reinforces the signal and preserves the sound, regardless of the complexity of your pedalboard or the length of your cables.
