Jackson is celebrating the anniversary of *Rust in Peace*, Megadeth’s iconic album, with the limited-edition David Ellefson Signature Concert™ Bass CB V, a model from the Legend series that replicates the very first five-string bass produced by Jackson. For the record, this bass—a true cornerstone of Ellefson’s signature line—was originally built for the band’s 1990 tour. The Legend Concert™ Bass CB V features an alder body, a through-neck constructed from three pieces of quarter-sawn maple and reinforced with graphite rods, an ebony fingerboard with a compensated radius of 12”–16” (305–406 mm), EMG® 40DC and CS pickups paired with a three-band equalizer, a 5-string Jackson HiMass™ bridge, Hipshot open-gear tuning machines, shark-fin-shaped Perloid inlays, a glossy black finish, all-black hardware, and Ellefson’s signature on the truss rod cover and headstock.
