Made in Korea, the JACKSON Pro Plus Series DK Modern MS HT6 (2911002503) is a multi-scale solid body electric guitar (25.5"-26.5") of the highest quality. It has all the essential features for the contemporary technical heavy-metal guitarist, whether rhythmist or soloist.
Its luthiery is beyond reproach, with a Basswood body, a three-piece bolt-on neck in Maple/Wenge, and a 24-fret Ebony fingerboard (stainless steel jumbo type). Fishman Fluence Modern pickups, Hipshot bridge, Gotoh Locking tuning machines and two separate voicings, activated by a push-pull tone potentiometer. The neck pickup is equipped with AlNiCo V magnets and the bridge pickup with Ceramic VIII magnets. An instrument equipped with a multi-scale fingerboard with fanned frets offers two major advantages: - optimized string tension for modern tuning (down-tuning) while maintaining optimal intonation - less muscle and tendon stress.
