Solid body electric bass
Designed for beginners and intermediate Rock Metal players, the JACKSON JS Series Spectra Bass JS2 (2919004568) is an attractive option. Its ergonomic body balances ideally with the neck, distributing weight evenly. With its "Speed" profile and 12" radius, the neck also allows fatigue-free playing for hours on end (24-fret Laurier fingerboard).
The duo of Jackson® J-Style & P-Style pickups and passive or active circuitry provide multiple tones to suit different musical registers. In active mode, a potentiometer lets you dose a bass boost.
On the practical side, the ability to switch to passive mode can be useful if the battery powering the circuit fails. The fingerboard is made of Laurier, a high-quality alternative to rosewood. With superior density and stability, its acoustic performance is comparable to that of Brazilian Rosewood.
