Baritone guitar
Seven-string model with 26.5" baritone scale. The JET GUITARS JS-407 MBK (6473) is a solid body electric guitar inspired by an American reference model, and offered at exceptional value for money. An often overused expression, absolutely not in this case. It's remarkably well thought-out and machined, with convincing playing comfort and sound performance.
The body in torrefied Poplar - which can be considered an alternative to Alder - generates a dense, glossy sound base with an emphasis on the upper midrange. This is complemented by the torrefied Maple bolt-on neck, which densifies the attack, and the Rosewood fingerboard, which adds thickness and roundness. In addition to giving the wood an elegant patina, the torrefaction process improves the instrument's stability, sustain, clarity and resonance, while protecting it from thermal variations, humidity and mildew. In this configuration (seven strings, baritone, 24 frets, HH ceramic magnet pickups, fixed bridge), it's clear that this instrument has been designed for musicians with a penchant for big, contemporary saturation, making it the instrument of choice for beginner to intermediate metal guitarists.
