Seven-string model, 26.5" baritone scale. The JET GUITARS JS-507 Stygian (6481) is a solid body electric guitar inspired by an American reference model, and offered at an exceptional value. An often overused expression, absolutely not in this case. It's remarkably well thought-out and machined, with convincing playing comfort and sound performance.

In the tradition of a Gibson©, the luthier combines a mahogany body and neck with a rosewood fingerboard to create a generous, warm and responsive sound base, with an emphasis on the midrange. The neck is bolt-on rather than glued, for significantly greater clarity.

In this seven-string / baritone scale configuration, equipped with a duo of hand-wound humbucking pickups (more responsive and organic) with AlNiCo magnets and a fixed bridge, it is clearly destined for the contemporary Metal register.
