The Double Dragon Lo-Fi Octave Device is based on 40 to 50 years of analog octave divider technology, the same technology that produced the MXR Blue Box, DOD Octoplus, Boss OC-2, Ibanez OT10, Electro-Harmonix Micro Synth and other synth-maker-inspired circuits.
The Double Dragon is an all-analog, monophonic lower and upper octave pedal. The lower octave is the thick, analog foundation, with the characteristic behavior that has made vintage octave circuits legendary. The upper octave is a pure bonus: top-octave distortion, somewhere between an Octavia and a Superfuzz. Rough. Exploitable. With a midrange bite that cuts through the mix.
Activate the Double Dragon and you won't be able to stop riffing. Your guitar will sound twice as big. You'll fill the space of an entire band.
Works well with an overdrive afterwards (especially the midrange-rich Tube Screamer types), a fuzz afterwards for more chaos, and a pitch vibrato for a more synth-like texture.

- Volume: Main output level with additional boost available. Cut the octaves, turn up the dry signal, and you've got an excellent, always-on preamp.
- Dry: Mix your clean signal with octave effects.
- Oct? Low octave mix.
- Oct+: Upper octave and distortion (activated by right footswitch).
- Left footswitch: On / Off.
- Right footswitch: Activates the OCT+ circuit.
- The main effect must be activated for OCT+ to work.
- For the upper octave only, turn it on and turn the OCT down.
