The midrange of the Oxblood guitar effect is powerful, deep and bright, and will make any guitar sound good, Strat, Tele, Les Paul...
The Phat setting cuts the bass response to give a typical Tube Screamer or Klon sound; once cut, it's saturated with full, punchy even harmonics. The Clipping selector adds sustain, Tone controls the treble, the Level setting gives you a lot more room to push your tubes without breaking them, Drive allows you to go from a clear sound to heavy sustain and saturation.
This pedal was designed by the Keeley team with the help of Jack Orman, a pioneer in the effects world for 20 years. His ideas are incorporated by most boutique effects manufacturers today. Together, they've designed something to surpass all Klones.
