Korg Pitchblack XS

The Pitchblack XS not only features a true bypass to reproduce sound exactly as it comes in, but also ULTRA BUFFER technology. Most electric guitars use passive pickups with a high-impedance output. When you use a cable, there's a loss of sound signal quality, usually in the high frequencies, after about 6 m, and this problem gets worse the longer the cable. A Buffer amplifies the signal to prevent loss of sound, keeping it clean and clear, even when your pedal is switched off. The ULTRA BUFFER improves sound quality in bypass mode, so you can maintain audio quality even when using a long cable to connect to the tuner, or when inserting the tuner into a complex effects setup. On the Pitchblack XS, you can switch between true bypass and ULTRA BUFFER, to suit your taste.
