The Element Actif VTC-N (Volume and Tone Control) system for nylon strings is a duo consisting of a piezo pickup under the bridge and a Class A jack preamp. It differs from the Element Actif in that it allows you to control volume and treble, but still via a removable control.
The Element Actif VTC -N offers performance never before achieved in this class of microphones. Its simple, effective design aims to improve the connection between pickup and guitar, making the pickup more sensitive and offering a livelier, more open sound with plenty of dynamics.
This entire system has been designed for plug-and-play performance.

- A nylon hardshell case for the battery, with an adhesive strip for the Power supply: 9V battery, not supplied.
- Mounting The piezo pickup fits under the nut.
- The jack preamp fits into the hole where the original strap button was located.
- Installation of the jack may require enlarging the existing hole. - The volume and treble knobs are located on the inside edge of the soundhole.
