Offered at an incredible price, with an astonishing level of performance, the solidbody electric bass with active/passive MARCUS MILLER V3 4ST 2nd Generation MM147 electronics (asymmetrical mahogany body, bolt-on maple neck, 34" scale) is unquestionably one of the best alternatives on a highly competitive market.
Imagined by the great Marcus Miller himself on the basis of a timeless design, it is both very comfortable and very versatile thanks to the combination of remarkable Marcus Super Jazz pickups and active 18v or passive electronics (via mini-switch) that provide an enormous catalog of vintage or more contemporary tones, but expressive and generous in all circumstances.

This evolution released in 2018 sees the introduction of Standard-J Revolution pickups (new magnets and winding procedure) with hyper-convincing vintage temperament, rounded neck edges, 9.5" radius and medium frets for optimum comfort.

Première basse pour apprentissage, dès les premières notes, j'ai été surpris par la clarté et la puissance. Je joue sur carte RME avec Logic Pro X, je bénéficie donc de mon pedalboard et de tous mes effets en temps réel. Prise en main ultra rapide malgré un poids surprenant mais probablement lié par le fait que ce soit une basse active.
Réglages très utiles et qualitatifs par potards (bass, med, treb + volume, etc).
Excellent rapport qualité/prix !

Achetée au magasin de Toulouse après essai de divers modèles, j'ai été séduit par cette version en acajou qui sonne même à vide. La lutherie est parfaite pour le prix. Bons micros, préampli très efficaces une fois qu'on le maîtrise et sonne aussi très bien en passif. D'ailleurs j'avoue plus l'utiliser comme ça. Le manche fin et ses bords arrondis comme les frettes, est un régal. Après on peut imaginer changer les micros si on les trouve trop modernes.
Superbe basse pour débuter ou comme second instrument, ce qui est mon cas.
Plus que recommendable pour son rapport qualité prix qui n'a rien à envier aux marques américaines notamment pour les gammes mexicaines...

Un rapport qualité/prix sidérant ! Le confort est exceptionnel pour une basse de cette gamme.

L'électronique est très efficaces et l'EQ 3 bande du preamp permet de sculpter le son dans des styles très variés. Il n'y a pas grand chose que cette basse ne peux jouer... Et pour avoir mieux que ça, il faudra multiplier le prix par 3 minimum !

Acheté pour mon fils, j'envisage sérieusement de m'en prendre une pour ajouter à ma collection.
