The MARCUS MILLER Z7 Alder 5-String (MN, 3TS ) solid-body five-string electric bass is undoubtedly one of the best mainstream reinterpretations of the Music Man© Stingray© (Alder or Ash body depending on color, bolt-on neck in Maple, Maple or Ebony fingerboard depending on color, 34" scale).
Designed by the great Marcus Miller himself, it is both extremely comfortable and extremely versatile, thanks to the combination of pickups with Alnico V magnets and active 18v or passive electronics (via mini-switch) that provide a huge catalog of vintage or more contemporary tones, yet expressive and generous in all circumstances.

Basse reçue en excellent état, la Z7 est une basse très polyvalente grâce à ses 5 potentiomètres (+2).
A savoir également qu'il y a un mode actif et passif grâce à un préampi de 18V, qui envoie vraiment du lourd. Je suis encore débutant mais en l'essayant, je retrouve bien cette sonorité des Musicman Stingray Américaine. Le "Edgeless" de Sire est top aussi ça rajoute beaucoup en confort de jeu.

Globalement, c'est une basse super confortable à jouer et avec un sonorité typique Musicman tout en ayant de la polyvalence grâce au micro jazz du coté du manche.
