Solid body electric bass

The MARKBASS MB Yellow JB (MBB148059C) is an excellent consumer variant of the most famous solid-body electric bass. It's ideal for beginners, but will also appeal to the more experienced musician looking for a quality traditional backup instrument.

The body is made of Poplar, a wood species considered an alternative to Alder. Widely available and inexpensive, Poplar is therefore often used to build entry-level and mid-range instruments.
