MARSHALL Vintage Re-issue 1987X Head: 50 watt tube head, 2 channels The Marshall Re-issue series to date comprises 4 models: 100 Watt 1959SLP head, 50 Watt 1987X head, 2245 'JTM45' head & 1962 'Bluesbreaker' combo, respectful reproductions of the original versions, totally faithful to the British spirit that shaped the Rock sound as we know it today. The only (clever) departure from the 1st versions is the addition, at the request of guitarists, of a totally transparent effects loop. The common thread linking these amps is their ease of use and their natural, highly organic, responsive sound. These are amps designed to be pushed to their limits, particularly in terms of output volume. So don't hesitate to set the Loudness potentiometers to maximum values, otherwise you won't get that characteristically full, homogeneous and musical crunch sound.

A word of advice: we strongly suggest that you mix the two channels using the 4 available inputs (by inserting a cable between input 2 of channel 1, and input 1 of channel 2), as the textures are thus multiplied.
