Hand-designed and hand-built in Petaluma, California, USA, compact and lightweight (7.48 kg), the MESA BOOGIE Mark Five: 25 Head (Black Bronco) delivers the quintessential Mesa Boogie sound.

There's no point in making an extensive eulogy of the Mark Five: 25, given its pedigree (Mark I, Mark III, Mark IV, Mark V), but here are a few features that speak for themselves:

- ability to switch instantly from 10 watts (2x tubes activated in Class A/B Triod) to 25 watts (2x tubes activated in Dyna-Watt™ Class A/B Pentode mode for optimum power-clarity-dynamics) - two channels armed with 3x modes each, and fully independent controls (gain, volume, EQ, reverb).
- channel 1 offers Clean, Fat or Crunch Modes, the Multi-Watt™ Power Switch option (10/25 Watts) and the possibility of being assigned to the graphic equalizer.
- channel 2 offers Mark IIC+, Mark IV and Xtreme modes, the Multi-Watt™ Power Switch option (10/25 Watts) and the possibility of being assigned to the graphic equalizer. - the 5-band graphic equalizer can be controlled via the included footswitch, assignable to each channel. - dual-function Mid/Boost Control potentiometers. conventional midrange control from 1 to 5 - boost control from 5 to 10 - on-board speaker cabinet simulation via Built-In CabClone technology, which also acts as a headphone jack. Two voicings are available, "Closed-Back" or "Open-Back", and you can deactivate the speaker(s) with the "Speaker On/Off" switch.
