Bass amp head
The Boogie® BASS 400+ head was a classic that was used by major bassists for over two decades. From Paul McCartney to Mark King, Stanley Clark, Jack Blades and Michael Anthony, the qualities of the 400+ have been praised by professional musicians from all musical backgrounds.
Combining a tube preamp and a solid-state Class D power stage, the MESA BOOGIE Subway TT-800 Bass Amp (Metal Head) - Black follows in the footsteps of the BASS 400+ in a more compact, lighter and even more flexible version, thanks to two channels with individual controls. In all circumstances, the Subway TT-800 delivers generous, rich, articulate and hyper-punchy tones.
The BOOGIE® channel reproduces the sonic characteristics of the Bass 400+ with the openness and amplitude typical of all-tube amps, while the SUBWAY channel is designed for more modern, edgy, harsh tones, with tight lows, dense, precise mids and crystal-clear highs.
In addition to the subtle equalization (semi-parametric midrange), you'll find a variety of complementary filters for fine-tuning your sound and dynamics. Connections are extremely comprehensive, with an independent effects loop for each channel, direct XLR outputs, a headphone output, an Aux input and a tuner output.
