Mtd Andrew Gouché Kingston KAG5PH 5-String - ag burst

The MICHAEL TOBIAS DESIGN Andrew Gouché Kingston KAG5PH-AG 5-String solid body electric bass began in 2010, with close collaboration between Michael Tobias and the signature artist, with the goal of bringing the best features of the Handmade Andrew Gouché Signature to the Kingston line.

The Kingston AG features a carved Alder body, with a stunning burl Maple top. Alder makes a very warm, big sounding, slightly compressed, punchy bass. The burl Maple top helps to focus the low end, while the Purpleheart fingerboard complements the custom smoky purple satin finish, tying everything together for Andrew’s favorite tone and feel.
The fingerboard is made of Purpleheart. It's a dense tonewood recalling brazilian Rosewoods.

The AG also features proprietary MTD Bartolini soapbar pickups, adding to it’s incredible tone.

Andrew Gouché plays both his MTD Handmade Signature model and his Kingston AG on stage, in bass clinics, church gigs, and just about everywhere else.
