Solid body electric bass
The signature model of the American bassist, composer, producer and musical director, the MICHAEL TOBIAS DESIGN Andrew Gouché Kingston KAG5PH-AG 5-String is a modern, versatile and ergonomic five-string solidbody electric bass. It retains the essential features of the American Andrew Gouché, with a drastic selection of components and impeccable finishes.
It features Bartolini Custom pickups, Buzz Feiten Tuning technology for precise intonation, and a top-of-the-line Quick Release bridge. Alder body, burr maple top, bolt-on maple neck, 25-fret Purpleheart fingerboard. The fingerboard is made of Amaranth or Purpleheart. This is a relatively rare, high-quality species from South American forests. Its high density provides extended sustain, excellent dynamics and clarity.
Michael Tobias is one of the world's most respected bass builders, having begun his career in the 1970s.
