He's also been featured on many top-flight metal albums: Suffokate "Vanishing", Polyphia "Aviator" & "Nasty", Veil of Maya "Teleute", Within Destruction "Sakura".
The luthiery and equipment of the Jason Richardson Cutlass are perfectly adapted to produce the characteristic sounds of contemporary styles such as Djent or Death Core. But it's equally at home in a more traditional register.
Alder body, poplar burr top, bolt-on neck in flamed maple, 24-fret flamed maple fingerboard, Music Man Custom 7 humbucking pickups (ceramic magnets) with Music Man Active Buffered custom output preamp circuit (activatable via volume push/pull), split coils (via push/push tone), traditional Music Man Custom vibrato, locking tuning machines.
