Inspired by the bassist's personal vintage model, the MUSIC MAN Artist Pino Palladino StingRay Bass Fretless (294-71P-40-01 ) reproduces the sounds of the essential British bassist whose résumé is absolutely incredible: Paul Young, Tears For Fears, Jeff Beck, David Gilmour, Elton John, Eric Clapton, Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, Zucchero, Jean-Jacques Goldman, Stephan Eicher...In the early '70s, Forrest White and Tom Walker left Fender-CBS to launch their own company, which officially became Music Man in 1974. Leo Fender in turn left Fender and joined them as president in 1975. Designed by Leo Fender, Tom Walker and Sterling Ball in Fullerton, California, the StingRay was then considered an innovative bass, and in a flash became very popular with the world's most renowned bassists.
