Based on a legendary effect and compatible with guitar and bass, the MXR Deep Phase M279 effect pedal is a highly flexible phaser ranging from the subtle to the radical. The circuit maintains the output volume when the pedal is active (which was not the case with the original model, which suffered from a serious drop in level).
