THE BRAND Native instruments

Native Instruments is a company specialising in products, mainly software, for audio production (virtual instruments, sound banks and audio effects) and DJing.

The German brand first appeared in 1996 with a virtual synthesiser based on the world of modular synthesis. It was in 2000 that the brand began to take an interest in the world of DJing with the arrival of the first DJ software, ‘Traktor’.

Native Instruments has a huge community in the world of music production. The German brand runs a huge forum on their website to keep in close touch with users, and organises a huge number of masterclasses around the world with artists demonstrating how they use Native Instruments products in their compositions.

You can be sure that in most of today's (electronic) tracks, one or more sounds come from a virtual instrument or a Native Instruments sound bank.
