Active studio monitor
The Neumann KH 310 II is a professional studio monitor designed for the most demanding production environments. Successor to the renowned KH 310 A, it retains the neutrality and precision for which Neumann is renowned, while incorporating modern DSP architecture and increased power. Designed for mixing, mastering, post-production and immersive systems, it offers extremely faithful reproduction of every sonic detail. It's the reference choice for studios looking for reliable, consistent and long-lasting listening.
Features
3-way design for exceptional precision
The KH 310 II uses a 3-way architecture combining an 8.25" woofer, a 3" soft-dome midrange driver and a 1" tweeter. This configuration allows each transducer to work within its ideal range, delivering more detailed reproduction, better frequency separation and a particularly precise sound image.
Neutral reproduction for reliable decisions
Designed for critical applications, the KH 310 II delivers an extremely linear frequency response. You hear exactly what's in your mix, without excessive coloration. This neutrality facilitates decision-making and guarantees better translation to other listening systems.
Integrated 32-bit DSP architecture
32-bit digital processing optimizes the management of filtering, phase and loudspeaker protection. This architecture ensures remarkable consistency between speakers in the same system, while guaranteeing stable, accurate reproduction in all working situations.
Compatible with MA 1 automatic calibration
The KH 310 II can be combined with the Neumann MA 1 system to automatically adapt speaker response to the acoustics of your room. This correction enhances listening precision and lets you exploit the monitor's full potential, even in complex environments.
Deep, perfectly controlled bass
The closed-load design combined with ELFF technology delivers excellent bass extension with very low distortion. Bass remains precise, fast and perfectly controlled, making it easier to work on frequency balance and transients.
More power and more dynamic reserve
Thanks to its new high-efficiency Class D amplification, the KH 310 II offers a sound level 5 dB higher than that of the KH 310 A. This extra headroom makes it possible to work comfortably in medium to large spaces, while maintaining excellent signal control.
Connectivity for modern studios
The KH 310 II features both analog and AES3id digital inputs on BNC connectors. This versatility makes it easy to integrate into today's professional setups, whether in a music production studio, broadcast environment or post-production facility.
Ready for immersive audio
The sonic coherence of the entire Neumann KH range makes it easy to build immersive, multichannel systems. This makes the KH 310 II an ideal solution for Dolby Atmos configurations and next-generation audio formats requiring perfect homogeneity between speakers.
