The Nord Electro 7 73 incorporates all the improvements of the new Electro generation in a 73-note format, offering a wider playing range while retaining a stage-appropriate format. It features a new high-definition color display and modernized push-button rotary encoder navigation for smoother operation.

This version benefits from the phonic wheel organ and rotary speaker modeling directly derived from Nord Organ 3, as well as a new programmable synth section integrating sample playback, analog and FM synthesis. Each sound section now has its own dedicated effects, with a common reverb.
