Scale and chord modes
The Launchkey 49 MK3 lets you play in the key of your choice, thanks to eight transposable scale modes. What's more, its three chord modes transform the keys and pads into an interactive surface, ideal for creating harmonies quickly.
Arpeggiator and Mutate function
The arpeggiator lets you quickly come up with ideas by exploring different rhythmic structures. The Mutate function transforms your patterns into new shapes, perfect for stimulating your creativity.
Custom modes
With Novation's Components application, customize the behavior of the Launchkey 49 MK3 by programming control assignments, MIDI routings, pad color and much more to adapt the controller to your working style.
MIDI connectivity
The Launchkey 49 MK3 features a 5-pin DIN MIDI output, ideal for simple connection to external MIDI devices. Perfect for both live and studio users.
Optimized pads and rotary encoders
Larger velocity-sensitive pads provide greater dynamic control. The eight rotary encoders are perfect for interacting with your software and adding depth to your musical creations.
Seamless integration with Ableton Live
With a dedicated MIDI Capture button and controls for track arming, quantization, clicking and looping, integration with Ableton Live is totally seamless.

No Ableton Live? No problem! The Launchkey 49 MK3 integrates seamlessly with Logic, Reason, Studio One, Cubase and Pro Tools, in HUI mode, for maximum flexibility on all platforms.

Native Kontrol Standard (NKS) is a standard that allows plug-ins to be connected to physical controllers without any configuration. The NKS ecosystem includes over 2,000 virtual instruments and effects plugins created by more than 250 renowned developers. Komplete 15 Select Bundle* available free of charge! Compatible Novation controllers will be delivered with NI's legendary sounds, allowing your customers to start experiencing the seamless integration between controller and Native plugins.
