Because it's a combination of well-known sounds that have magnified many a blues and rock recording, the association of the "BluesBreaker" sound with Centaur boost is no longer in question. Nux decided to combine its MorningStar and Horseman pedals to offer a double overdrive that brings together those bright, saturated, headroom-filled sounds that guitarists love. The MorningStar (Breaker) section offers its "Shine" mode for more treble and crystal-clear overdrive. The Horseman (Clone) section benefits from a "Silver" mode that increases the gain range and boosts your sound. Each section can be adjusted with the traditional drive, tone and level knobs to fine-tune your sound. The Queen of Tone offers much more than the two MorningStar and Horseman pedals combined! The internal routing allows you to choose the order of your signal in series: the MorningStar section before the Horseman section for a boost in volume/clarity and mid/high frequencies, or the Horseman section towards the MorningStar to saturate and give even more character to the Breaker-type preamp. In addition to this overdrive signal flexibility, the pedal lets you choose between True Bypass or Buffer bypass to preserve your sound according to your chain. An input signal selector IFS (Input FET Stage) allows you to add or not an FET stage before the overdrives. This will give your amp a harmonic boost on the verge of breakup/overdrive, perfect for an even richer final sound with the pedal's two overdrives! Finally, a jack footswitch connection lets you control the activation of the overdrive sections remotely.
