Nux Sculpture Compressor

The compression effect is often opaque and misunderstood by guitarists, but it's an inspiring secret weapon for adding snap and sustain to your sound! A compressor "cleans up" loud notes (peaks) and raises the level of quieter notes, harmonizing dynamic gaps to bring out every note played. The Nux Sculpture Compressor mini pedal is very compact, but offers extensive functionality for a compressor of its size. The three knobs control sustain (compression), level (volume of the compressed signal) and blend (mix between your pure signal and the compressed signal), enabling you to gradually add more naturalness and attack to your sound. This mix knob already allows a great deal of nuance, but the Sculpture goes a step further by offering two compression modes selectable by pressing the footswitch for one second. The "clean" soft clipping mode will cut the upper and lower edges of the signal in a "soft and progressive" way. The hard clipping mode, on the other hand, will sharply and radically cut the top and bottom of the signal for a more brutal compression. Finally, this clever pedal offers the option of selecting a true bypass or buffer according to your playing configuration (selection by holding the footswitch and powering the pedal).
