The compact ORIGIN EFFECTS MAGMA57 Amp Vibrato & Drive pedal perfectly combines two circuits, a tube-type overdrive inspired by the legendary Magnatone® Model 213 Troubadour 6V6 combo, and the two-stage vibrato of Magnatone® Custom 260 and 280 model amps from the late 1950s.
The sublime analog saturations will remind connoisseurs of the characteristic Fender Tweed Deluxe grain, raw, organic, complex and dynamic, but with more defined bass on the higher settings. On the second section, the MAGMA57 reproduces the pitch-bending vibrato of Magnatone® Custom 260/280 combos, an absolute reference in the field.
The direct signal can be coupled with the effected signal in various ways, to obtain either a classic Rotary Speaker Phasing / Univox Uni-Vibe effect, or a magnificent chorus. The MAGMA57 also features Post-Drive EQ, so you can match it to your amplifier to the millimeter.
A Power Amp mode optimizes output when connected directly to a power amp, and a TRS input allows remote control via a Tap Tempo switch or a Boss ES5 / TheGigRig G2 system.
