The ORMSBY Metal X GTR Run 16 (Dahlia Black) is a multi-scale solid body electric guitar whose construction, equipment and ergonomics have been optimized for modern Metal playing techniques and sounds. A high-quality, extremely comfortable instrument with a thick, furious sound and impeccable finish. Swamp Ash body, Maple set neck, Ebony fingerboard (scale 25.5 > 27.5", 24 stainless steel fanned frets), Ormsby splitable pickups (push/pull tone control), Ormsby Custom Multiscale bridge. Made in Korea and sold with Ormsby case. An instrument equipped with a multi-scale fingerboard with fanned frets offers two major advantages: - optimized string tension for modern tuning (down-tuning) while maintaining optimal intonation - less muscle and tendon stress.
