Active studio monitor
The Palmer ORBIT 11 is a 3-channel active studio monitor designed for demanding environments. Whether for mixing, mastering, post-production, broadcast or content creation, it aims for precision. Its True Point Source coaxial design ensures a stable, coherent image. If you're looking for reliable, portable listening, this is clearly a tool for professional use.
Features
True Point Source coaxial architecture
The 6.5? midrange and 1? tweeter share the same acoustic axis. The result is a homogeneous dispersion of 120° × 120°. The stereo image remains stable, even off-axis. You can make mixing decisions with greater confidence, throughout the listening area.
Cardioid front baffle
The design limits the energy sent backwards. You reduce interaction with the rear wall and improve accuracy in untreated rooms. Ideal for keeping bass clean and midrange legible, even in confined spaces.
Extended bass down to 28 Hz
Two 8? impulse-compensated woofers work in a sealed cast aluminum cabinet. The thick structure minimizes vibration. The result is a deep, controlled and detailed bass, suitable for demanding modern productions.
96 kHz / 24-bit digital processing with FIR filtering
FIR filtering guarantees linear phase behavior. Transients are better respected, and the temporal integration of the loudspeakers is precise. Attack, placement and mix depth are more clearly perceived.
Top panel controls
The input attenuator, 3-band equalizer, Desk and Rear Wall presets and 80 Hz high-pass filter are directly accessible. You can quickly adapt the monitor to your room or positioning.
Analog and digital connectivity
Balanced XLR input for conventional connection, AES3 input and AES3 Thru output for cascade connection. You can easily integrate the ORBIT 11 into a digital or hybrid system.
Flexible, secure installation
Threaded mounting points, M8 eyelet and compatibility with Gravity GSPWMBS20B bracket. Wall or ceiling mounting possible. A solution for fixed studios, editing rooms or broadcast installations.

Can it be used in a small room?
Yes, thanks to the Desk and Rear Wall presets and the cardioid baffle, which limit interaction with the environment.
What is the purpose of FIR filtering?
It ensures a linear phase response, improving transient accuracy and temporal coherence between loudspeakers.
Is it compatible with a digital installation?
Yes, it has an AES3 input and an AES3 Thru output for digital chaining.
Who is this monitor for?
It's ideal for mixing, mastering and post-production professionals looking for reliable, detailed listening in critical applications.
