Palmer PDI 06 L8 Power Pad MkII 8 ohms

The PALMER Power PAD PDI06 MkII 8 ohms is a rack-mounted power attenuator, to be connected between the output of your guitar/bass amp (120w max) and the input of your speaker cabinet (8 ohms): you have 6 power levels ranging from 18% to 100%, so you can take full advantage of the optimum efficiency of the power stage of your tube amp, without needing to play at high volume. A loadbox mode allows you to cut the speaker signal. This mode is ideal for redirecting the amp's output to a mixer, without polluting the sound environment.

To avoid damaging your amplifier, the nominal impedance of the speaker cabinet must match that of the PDI06. An 8 Ohm PDI06 can drive an 8 Ohm speaker cabinet, or two 16 Ohm speaker cabinets connected in parallel. The amplifier output must be set to 8 Ohms; the PDI06 16 Ohms has only one output.
