Bass drum pedal
The first Eliminator revolutionized the bass drum pedal, offering for the first time an interchangeable cam system that lets you choose between speed, power and precision. With the new Eliminator Redline series, Pearl goes even further, adding NiNja ball bearings from the famous Demon pedals. Faster, smoother, more precise and more beautiful too, the Eliminator offers multiple features that deserve to be detailed:
Eliminator Redline traction plate
The traction plate offers a choice of 2 positions, grip up or down, to suit all types of play.
NiNja ball bearings
From the world of skateboarding, NiNja ball bearings are stronger, smoother and faster than any other bearing.
4-sided Control core bat
With a reduced profile, the Eliminator Redline bat still offers 4 faces (2 plastic and 2 felt) but now features a central elastomer core to eliminate vibrations.
Powershifter function
By moving the sole forwards or backwards, the PowerShifter function offers 3 different positions for finding the right balance between power and control. By changing the angle of the transmission, this function has a direct influence on the feel of the game: light, standard or hard.
Zero play hinge
The patented stainless steel hinge offers total freedom of movement for greater speed and zero play between sole and heel.
Patented jaw
Quickly adapts to a wide range of strapping thicknesses and facilitates side access for rapid positioning.
Click-Lock tension adjustment
The new spring compartment locks in the desired tension, and the counter-spring adjustment allows the spring to pivot with each stroke to reduce resistance.
Uni-Lock bat angle cam
Positioned 360° around the shaft, it enables hyper-precise adjustment of the striking angle. The "pendulum" design of the floating spring provides perfect axle centering for full ball movement and maximum fluidity.
Chain or belt transmission
The sprocketless double-chain transmission offers a very smooth action with precise, powerful control. The belt drive, on the other hand, offers a comfortable, natural playing feel akin to direct-drive transmissions.
Interchangeable cam systems
Eliminator Redline comes with 4 different-colored cams that are quick and easy to interchange. Each offers a different playing feel to suit your playing style.
An essential accessory.
Since its creation a hundred years ago, the bass drum pedal has taken many different forms. Initially, the aim was simply to enable a seated percussionist to use his foot to strike a bass drum. Engineers soon got to work on the idea, and the bass drum pedal became the subject of a whole host of patents and discoveries. Virtuosos with lightning-fast feet have since set the bar very high, and there are pedals that favor this swift approach, while others focus primarily on power. Pearl's Eliminator series simply combines the two, and it certainly hasn't stolen its name!
A well-kept secret.
Not everyone has to be a physics whiz, but when you look at the Eliminator Redline, you'll immediately notice its Formula 1-oriented look (which will appeal to dads), and its very streamlined size (which will appeal to moms). Teens with an interest in purely scientific physics will immediately notice the short, raised sole and interchangeable cam. Just try out each of the three settings on offer (soft, medium and firm), and you'll immediately understand that all these criteria combined are the secret of a good pedal, responsive to the slightest inflection of the ankle.
Elimination is its watchword
The Eliminator Redline is designed to eliminate everything in its path! With its NiNja ball bearings, its 4 Controle core beater faces for speed or power, and its powershifter function, nothing can stand in its way! The double-chain drive will give your bass drum head no respite for as long as your feet allow!
