An original AOP gain circuit boosts the clipping stage with the same NOS diodes found in the famous Big Muff Civil War and Green Russian, giving you precise attack, incredible sustain and mids that pop out of the mix. Thanks to its exclusive active Clean Blend circuit, you'll be able to combine your direct sound with the distorted signal, losslessly and transparently, just like a high-end mixer. The EQ circuit is calibrated to that of the famous Human Gear Animato, the basic sound of bassist Christopher Wolstenholme (MUSE), Big Muff-style without the midrange scoop. Finally, special care has been taken in the noise reduction section, with a filtered and buffered power supply circuit, and hand-sorted components.
