Case/flight/decksaver
The Pioneer DJ DDJ-REV1 is a DJ controller with a DJC REV1 carrying case from Pioneer DJ.
The DDJ-REV series is a new line of DJ controllers with a layout that mirrors that of a professional DJM-S mixer and PLX vinyl decks, with specialized features for scratch and open format DJs. For the first time ever on a Pioneer DJ controller, the tempo sliders have been moved to the top of the decks, and turned horizontally to recall PLX vinyl decks set up in a battle-style configuration. The Performance Pads have been placed in the mixer section with the effects levers, exactly where they are on the DJM-S series mixers, so you can aggressively change the sound during your sets.
You'll have plenty of room to experiment with different mixing techniques with this airy control layout, and you'll love scratching on the jogs, which are significantly larger than those on previous controllers in the same line. If you're thinking about getting into mix and scratch competitions-and you want to stream your sets as well-the DDJ-REV1 is the perfect device to get started.
You can have fun right away and easily scratch your music with the Tracking Scratch feature. This handy feature automatically returns the song to the cue point when you move the jog back or remove your hand, so you don't have to use the crossfader or worry about returning the jog to the starting point of your scratch. Simply choose the Scratch Crossfader Cuts pattern you want to use by pressing the corresponding Performance Pad and push the jog forward to scratch. You can also use the controller's Performance Pads to instantly trigger your favorite samples or songs that you've previously loaded into Serato DJ Lite's Scratch Bank-which was previously only available in Serato DJ Pro-and, with the Deck 3/4 control, you can play sounds from all 4 tracks of the software.
When you want to stream your sets to your friends and followers on social networks, you can easily integrate lyrics and vocals by plugging a microphone into the controller. There's no need for an external sound card or a separate mixer-the sound is transmitted directly to your laptop and streamed.
