Active studio monitor

The 6-2 3-way active monitoring loudspeaker is offered by PMC.

It combines two 6" long-throw woofers, the PMC55 2" soft-dome midrange driver and a 1" soft-dome tweeter. The PMC55's exclusive "N-compass" waveguide optimizes midrange dispersion and projection, while the tweeter's high performance delivers an ultra-wide, stable sound image, with a smooth, natural response throughout the room.

Hexagonal vents, equipped with Laminair™ technology, optimize airflow and reduce sound coloration. This improves dynamics, efficiency and sound accuracy.

Class D amplifier and high-precision DSP

400 W Class D amplifiers for each woofer ensure precise, controlled power. Sophisticated DSP crossovers optimize frequency and bass management.

Flexible configurations with SoundAlign™

The PMC6-2 can be configured directly via rear-panel controls or via browser-based SoundAlign™ software, enabling fine adjustments to limit and equalize sound.

Extending bass with an XBD system

For a complete monitoring system, the PMC6-2 can be combined with a PMC8.2 SUB and configured in XBD mode to achieve bass extension up to 25 Hz, with increased power for outstanding performance.
