Str shape electric guitar

USA-made solid body electric guitar, limited edition of 150. Inspired by the 2023 John McLaughlin Private Stock Limited Edition, the PRS USA Limited Edition Charcoal Phoenix is a reproduction of Paul Reed Smith's actual personal guitar. He tested and adjusted the instrument's characteristics throughout 2024. It thus celebrates PRS Guitars' fortieth anniversary in style and efficiency.

The Charcoal Phoenix is distinguished by the use of premium woods such as Chaltecoco for the neck (reserved for exceptional PRS models), Ziricote for the fingerboard and Private Stock grade Flamed Maple for the top. It's equipped with PRS TCI AlNiCo humbucking pickups and two mini selectors for adjusting the EQ (they act like filters, producing greater clarity and superbly musical highs).
