Semi-hollow electric guitar
Popularized by many of the world's leading artists, including Peter Buck of R.E.M. and before him Roger McGuinn of The Byrds and of course George Harrison of The Beatles, who made great use of its twelve-string version, the Rickenbacker 360 has gone down in history. This semi-hollow body guitar is therefore inseparable from the music of the 1960s, and in particular from the sound of the British Invasion. This RICKENBACKER 360 FG is an evolution of the original model, from which it takes on the essential characteristics, with a Maple body and glued neck, and a Rosewood fingerboard (21 frets). Its two Rickenbacker Hi-gain single-coil pickups provide richer, more generous tones than the "Low-output Toaster" of the time, which had a much glossier, more metallic character.
