Acoustic bass
The WARWICK ROCKBASS Alien Standard 5-String (Natural Transparent Satin) is a top-quality five-string electro-acoustic bass. Winner of a MIPA (Musikmesse International Press Award) in 2010, it features a solid spruce top, laminated Agathis body, mahogany neck, 24-fret Wenge fingerboard and Fishman Sonitone pre-amp (volume/tone knobs in the soundhole). Native to East Africa (Cameroon, Congo), Wenge offers more than just superb grain and a lovely chocolate hue. The best luthiers compare it to Brazilian rosewood.
