At the crossroads between a Fender© Precision Bass© and a Music Man© Stingray©, it offers a wide range of tones, from traditional to modern, thanks in particular to its active/passive disengageable electronics. Special mention must be made of its extremely comfortable neck. The body of the California VM SL Superlight is made of Paulownia, a particularly light wood with characteristics similar to those of Ash.
