Schecter C-1 Pale Moon - natural satin black burst

The SCHECTER C-1 Pale Moon (#692) is a reinterpretation of the Fender© Stratocaster© with an obvious tropism for Hard-Rock and Metal registers.
It's a high-end mid-range model that's impossible to beat. Extremely well-machined and very user-friendly, it offers a relatively wide range of tones, from crystal-clear to intensely saturated. Its luthiery combines an Ash "Swamp Ash" body enhanced by an attractive Ebony "Pale Moon" top, a seven-piece Maple/Walnut/Padauk through-neck, and a Richlite* fingerboard (Fender© 25.5" scale). This combination of woods generates resonant, dynamic and defined tones, with dense, precise lows, discreet mids and crystal-clear highs.
The through-neck not only guarantees the instrument's stability, but also promotes vibration transfer and therefore sustain. *Richlite is an excellent substitute for Ebony. Used for many decades by the aeronautical and maritime industries, it is a dense composite material made essentially from recycled paper certified by the FSC - Forest Stewardship Council, to which phenolic resin is added. The duo of Schecter Brimstone humbucking pickups with proprietary magnets made from Ceramic and Barium produce full-bodied, powerful and defined saturations. Via the push/pull coil-split option on the tone pot, clears and crunches will be remarkable for arpeggios or more nuanced rhythmics. The hardware is up to the job, with 24 stainless steel frets, a Schecter "Nouveau Ergo Hardtail" bridge and locking tuning machines for maximum sustain (reinforced by a Graph Tech nut). Add to this an impeccable playing comfort for shredders - thanks to the "Ultra Thin C" neck profile, the "Ultra Access" body/neck connection for easy access to high notes, and the hybrid 12"/16" radius - and you've got it, the C-1 Pale Moon deserves your full attention.
