Schecter C-7 Deluxe (color SBLK) 7-string solidbody baritone electric guitar: basswood body, bolt-on maple neck with rosewood fretboard (24 frets, scale 26.5"), Schecter Diamond Plus Humbuckers pickups, fixed bridge with through-neck strings.

A distant relative of the Fender Stratocaster in certain respects (general appearance, bolt-on neck in Maple), this is a very accessible interpretation dedicated to Metal-Djent guitarists, with a duo of humbucking pickups distorted to perfection, and 24 frets to give free rein to the soloist's imagination.

Dans cette gamme de prix, la lutherie est très bonne, bien finie, aucun élément qui dépasse, frettes bien polies et découpées. Tout est bien placé et simple à utiliser (de toute manière la destination de la guitare est assez simple: on joue fort). C'est du sérieux.

Les micros disposent d'un haut niveau de sortie, c'est ce qui a motivé l'achat.
4 ans plus tard, je ne regrette pas ce point, évidemment un upgrade pourrait apporter un peu de finesse et de définition notamment pour le micro manche qui est intéressant mais pas renversant.

Le confort de jeu est tout simplement excellent, manche confortable y compris pour l'accès à la corde de SI grave, accès aux aigus parfait, on joue bien, rapide et efficace.
