A savoir que je pars d'une Ibanez 6 cordes SIR70FD, dont le manche commençait à présenter des défauts et dont le confort me posait quelques soucis.

Suite à l'essai d'une Schecter Omen Extreme, totalement bluffant, j'ai exploré un peu plus loin l'idée d'acquérir une Schecter 7 cordes.

Au final, après essais en magasin a Lyon, j'ai trouvé le confort et le son de l'Omen Elite parfait. Après commande de la version "Black Cherry", elle a été reçue en magasin en à peine 10 jours.

Au niveau son, c'est un réel progrès par rapport à mon Ibanez. La différence est immédiate, et on perçoit clairement l'importance dans la sélection de micro. Même si plus lourde sur la balance, le confort de jeu est juste bluffant, j'ai gagné en vitesse (Le bois satiné du manche y joue beaucoup) et confort (la largeur en 7 cordes me convient bien mieux)

(Juste une petite déception sur un potard qui est légèrement de travers, probablement un souci au niveau du moulage du bouton, mais cela n'affecte en rien la qualité globale)
