Semi-hollow electric guitar

Produced in Japan and sold with its hardshell case, the YAMAHA SA2200 VS semi-hollowbody electric guitar is clearly inspired by the Gibson© ES-335© in a more modern, versatile variant; the woods it's made of have clearly been carefully selected (flamed laminated Maple body, Mahogany neck, Ebony fingerboard) and expertly assembled.
Yamaha's humbucking pickups based on Alnico V magnets are reminiscent of the PAFs of the '50s, but with a more contemporary bite; the possibility of splitting them via a push/pull tone potentiometer multiplies the combinations and makes for clearer, more crystalline tones perfect for arpeggios or funk grooves.
