Solid body electric bass
Supervised by the great Marcus Miller himself, the MARCUS MILLER V7 New Gen 4-String solidbody electric bass (Candy Apple Red) is unquestionably one of the best reinterpretations of the Fender© Jazz Bass© on the market, in a highly successful vintage/modern evolution!
While it retains the fundamentals (asymmetrical design, screw-in maple neck, 34" scale), it unquestionably excels in terms of price/performance ratio.
The luthiery combines an American alder body, a screwed neck in roasted maple and an Ebony fingerboard (set with 20 frets). A positively traditional platform. It generates a well-balanced acoustic base, with dense lows, prominent mids and clear highs.
The Ebony fingerboard significantly and musically compresses the sound, a parameter that may prove interesting in certain musical contexts.
In addition to giving the wood an elegant patina, the torrefaction process improves the instrument's stability, sustain, clarity and resonance, while protecting it from thermal variations, humidity and mildew.
Its clear, dynamic Marcus Miller Super-J Revolution pickups and Marcus Miller Heritage-3 circuit make it an exemplary modern model of flexibility. Equipped with two Jazz Bass pickups, an exhaustive panel of controls, and the ability to switch between active and passive modes, the V7 New Gen provides a vast catalog of tones. If you're looking for an ultra-versatile bass, this is close to perfection.
The SIRE Marcus Miller V7 New Gen is a highly accomplished electric bass in which every component has been rigorously selected. The meticulousness of its construction is quite remarkable, with features that are rare on such an affordable instrument (chamfered fret edges, stainless steel frets).
Add to this an undeniable comfort of play (very pleasant neck profile, 38 mm nut width) and you have the ideal model for the discerning musician looking for a high-quality bass at a realistic price.
It's unquestionably on the podium of instruments in the mid-range category.
