Discover Virtual Microphone System 2 The world's best modeling microphone has received a major upgrade. A true revolution when first released, the ML-1 mic accurately reproduced the color and timbre of over 25 carefully selected vintage mics, from modern studio staples to ribbon classics. Today, the all-new ML-1A and the redesigned Virtual Microphone System plugin take this functionality to a whole new level. ML-1A The ML-1A is a large-diaphragm condenser microphone, ideal for capturing everything from vocals and acoustic instruments to drums and more. It packs all its power into a smaller, sleeker format than its predecessor, with a dark gray metal body and redesigned grille.
Aesthetic differences aside, the main new feature of the ML-1A is its three-position attenuator (0 dB / -10 dB / -20 dB). It can capture up to 145 dB SPL with the -20 dB pad activated. It also benefits from reduced self-noise for an even cleaner recording experience. Virtual Microphone System The user experience of virtual microphone models has also been greatly enhanced: all models are now grouped together in a single stand-alone plugin.
