Solid body electric bass

The SPECTOR Doug Wimbish Euro4 LX (EURO4LXDW ) solid-body electric bass with active electronics is the signature model of the protean bassist from Living Colour, Sugarhill Gang, Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, The Rolling Stones, Mick Jagger, Depeche Mode, James Brown and Annie Lennox. It has been customized from its personal 1980s Spector NS-2.
European alder body with figured maple top, glued maple neck with 24-fret rosewood fingerboard, EMG P/J pickups, Spector TonePump pre-amp. Based on a JFET circuit, the Spector TonePump system embeds an adjustable boost (internal trimpot) that saturates in a very natural way, retaining remarkable clarity.
