Spector Icon NS-5 Neck-Thru - haunted moss

Spector's NS Icon Bolt-On series is revolutionizing the bass-playing experience with models that blend tradition and innovation.

Overview

In the summer of 2025, Spector launched the NS Icon Bolt-On series, offering an authentic experience to new generations of bassists. This year, we’re adding the ultimate touch with the “neck-through” construction—an iconic Spector feature since the brand’s inception.

"Neck-through" Construction for Unmatched Sound

The through-neck construction is the foundation of Spector’s sonic identity, enhancing tonal richness, sustain, and flexibility. Popularized in the 1970s, this innovation allows the new NS Icon through-neck basses to carry on the tradition while delivering remarkable performance.

High-Quality Features for Superior Performance

Designed by the Spector Custom Shop, these basses feature an iconic contoured body and a unique neck profile. They also incorporate our famous crown-shaped fretboard markers, while offering a combination of Aguilar DCB pickups and an OBP-2 preamp—a setup that has already been well-received in our Bolt-On series.

Refined aesthetics with elegant finishes

The NS Icon Neck-Through basses are available in four gloss finishes on a beautiful curly maple top:

• Black Stain
• Haunted Moss
• Purple Cherry
• Black and Blue

Whether on stage or in the studio, the NS Icon Neck-Through embodies the bold spirit and powerful sound that have defined Spector basses for 50 years.
