The SQUIER FSR Classic Vibe™ 60s Jazzmaster solidbody electric guitar (0374083966) was imagined for vintage Fender enthusiasts who lack the finances to acquire an American model. It's a seductive reinterpretation of the original Jazzmaster from the early 1960s. It combines traditional and contemporary features.
Poplar body, Laurier fingerboard, C-shaped neck profile, modern 9.5" radius, 22 frets, Fender Designed Alnico pickups, simplified control circuit (volume, tone, three-position pickup selector switch).

The body is made of Poplar, a wood species considered an alternative to Alder. Widely available and inexpensive, Poplar is therefore often used to build entry- and mid-range instruments. The fingerboard is made of Laurier, a wood species considered an excellent alternative to Rosewood. With superior density and stability, its acoustic performance is comparable to that of Brazilian Rosewood.
