The SQUIER Paranormal Esquire Deluxe (0377045565) is an original and highly playable solid body electric guitar. It cleverly combines the design of the Fender Esquire and Telecaster Custom 70's with a unique Fender-Designed Wide Range humbucking pickup. A rotary selector allows you to change its wiring: single-coil, humbucking, or direct access humbucking (volume and tone controls disabled).

The body is made of Poplar, a wood species considered an alternative to Alder. Widely available and inexpensive, Poplar is therefore often used to build entry-level and mid-range instruments.
